Joakim Riedel

My consultancy, through which I develop products and deliver talks, workshops and shorter consulting engagements. Propstreet was my principal assignment until August 2026; since September 2026, I have been working full-time on Loggad.

Developing a digital service journal for homes, vehicles and machinery. The aim is to keep an object's history, documents and practical knowledge useful through maintenance and changes of ownership.

Every line of code is written by autonomous agents. I build the factory they work in, including a panel of simulated users who test the product and feed their findings back into development. The agent architecture covers durable execution, recovery, tenant isolation and cost accounting.

Continuing board member

• Built the platform that matches brokers' commercial property deals with investors' acquisition strategies: data models, web application, integrations and production operation.
• Designed the matching engine, which calculated how relevant each deal was for each investor from location overlap, property type, deal size and development potential. Added language models and embeddings in 2023, so investors could describe what they want in their own words and language, and still be matched.
• Built an MCP interface and an in-app agent for customer workflows and scheduled tasks. Turned customer feedback into a split-screen workspace where people can watch the agent work, follow changes live and carry on in the product themselves.
• Designed permission-aware tools, reversible changes and approval for irreversible external actions. Evaluated behaviour through deterministic checks, structured-output validation and model-based assessment.
• Developed automated company-news monitoring and improved its reliability and cost efficiency through model selection, enforced search limits, spending controls and regression tests.

Practical sessions for e-commerce, fintech and SaaS companies, combining demonstrations, explanation and opportunities to experiment. One company invited me back for demonstrations for around fifty developers and an afternoon hackathon; its teams went on to use agent workflows for issue triage, production-log analysis and code review.

Invited speaker at BATIBOUW Business Insights / Solvay Brussels School in 2025. Talks and workshop formats.

Managed a loan portfolio financing entrepreneurs in the Gothenburg region, from early-stage companies to those expanding, including technology companies. Assessed business potential and credit risk, made lending decisions and presented and defended cases before the credit committee.

After Värderingsdata acquired Boreda, I stayed on to develop the product and joined the board and management team. The product is now part of MSCI.

Designed Boreda's web-based property valuation system and worked on it as a developer while running the company as CEO, with responsibility for staff, budgets and customers. We sold it to banks and real estate professionals, from brokers to property companies.

Boreda was acquired by Värderingsdata in 2012, where I continued working with the product until 2014. The product is now part of MSCI.

• Envious Data Systems HB, Aug 1997–Dec 2012. Co-founder of a software consultancy covering application development, IT documentation and procurement. The business overlapped with roles below and Boreda.
• RemoteX Technologies, Sep 2005–Jul 2006. Developed the product hosting platform, .NET software and BizTalk integrations, and supported customer projects.
• GCS Scandinavia, Dec 2003–Aug 2005. Developed the Conisio document management system using Visual C++, MFC, ATL, STL and Boost.
• DiaSorin, Sep 1998–Dec 2003. Responsible for IT operations, development and budget; contributed to international projects across five European countries.
